The team at Discover and Grow was in the process of looking for the right partner to help them redo their website. They came to me stressed and disappointed from their past web design experience. Originally, this young nonprofit had launched a website using a template they had purchased. Although design-wise they achieved a good outcome, the loading speed was slow and the website had a very low score on GTmetrix. As a consequence, they looked for an affordable developer to redo their website, which, unfortunately, did not work out as the website was still slow, and some parts of the design were broken.

I worked closely with them in order to achieve the most desirable outcome within the least amount of time. Having an already final copy deck and brand guidelines already established helped complete the project in record time. I also upgraded their design focusing on their target audience. I provided advice on the best functionalities and set expectations from the beginning of the project. Overall, the client was very satisfied and we are now partners for all of their web development needs.

Discover and Grow

Anti-bullying Clothing Line aims to discourage bullying and foster kindness one T-shirt at a time. At the same time they want to help parents raise safe, confident and happy kids through their products, and initiatives.

I’ve designed and coded this project. This responsive website is built on top of react.js.

Gladys Henriquez is Marketer, Project Manager and Entrepreneur. She’s been concepting and managing campaigns for start-ups all the way to multinational corporations for a while (over 10 years). She has also started a couple of cool start-ups.

This is the new design for gladyshenriquez.com. It has a clean yet colorful palette, which together with fun yet professional fonts display the ideal brand for Gladys, both the person and the professional. The website is fully responsive.

Audible Studios is the full-service, in-house publishing arm of Audible, the leading retailer of audiobooks and premium spoken-word programs, and the exclusive audiobook distributor to iTunes.

I coded the first responsive website audible has ever had using HTML CSS and some Javascript.

AUDIBLE STUDIOS

Welcholondemand.com is an informative site on the clinical benefits of using Welchol®. Colesevelam is a bile acid sequestrant administered orally. It is developed by Genzyme and marketed in the US by Daiichi Sankyo under the brand name Welchol and elsewhere by Genzyme as Cholestagel. In Canada it is marketed by Valeant as Lodalis.

TI worked on the front end of the site. Videos are loaded using JSON and displayed with Mustache.js, a templating system. The video player was styled using MediaElement.js, which allows the videos to even work on IE7. The scroll bar on the Indications copy was styled using jQuery custom content scroller plugin.

WELCHOL ON DEMAND

The Blue or White project helps teenagers experience both blue and white collar work in order to help them realize the differences and consequences of working in each. This organization wants to inspire and motivate young adults to study so that they can obtain a white collar job in which they use their minds not their bodies.

TThe design of the site aims to keep the blue and white theme, without over exaggeration. In order to do so other complementary colors like gray and orange have been introduced, which perfectly complement the existing color. This website is fully responsive.

Urban Om Shop is a yoga-inspired jewelry and home accessories online shop created by Selen

Just like a yoga um this site has a clean and peaceful design. Creativity doesn’t get lost in its minimalistic approach. Splashes of vibrant colors combined with closeups of the jewelry make the site come alive.

Bayard Advertising has been around for over 87 years. They specialize in career websites for major companies. Some of their clients are Expedia, JPMorgan Chase, LG and much more.

I worked at Bayard Ad for about five months and redesigned their main website. I coded 2 versions of this website: one for desktop and one for mobile.

It took about 2 weeks to build both sites.

Saint Luke’s Health System is a faith-based, nonprofit, aligned health system committed to the highest levels of excellence in providing health care and health-related services.

While working at Bayard Advertsing one of the projects I managed was Saint Luke’s Hospital. I coded the website in about 1 week. Over all it is a very practical site using HTML, CSS and jQuery
